Con report? Wut?

Whoo, drove up to Nashville for the Middle Tennessee Anime Convention (MTAC). It was a tad disappointing in some aspects (not enough Phoenix Wright fans!), but a totally sweet experience altogether. Hung out with these AWESOME AWESOME people there after first meeting them at Momocon:

They cosplayed too many characters to list but everything they touched turned into win. WIN. I was sad when their Air Gear group didn't get anything in the contest after all the work they put into it, but the whole contest itself was a little sketchy. Especially the Loveless cosplayers in the contest. Wow. For a little refresher on what happened, they SNOGGED onstage. Two girls cosplaying guys. Yuri of yaoi. I think I'll rub some makeup remover into my eyes while I'm removing the rest of this gunk, kthx.

Saturday was Ema Skye day. Faultybox took this SUGOIIII shot of me with his picturetastic professional camera: [link] . Ema is most definitely my favorite costume now, especially now that I've got a non-cosworx wig that DOESN'T SUCK. Ema's magic bag full of so many props was fun as well! (TAKE THAT magic panties!)

Sunday I wore Kristoph Gavin.... yeah.... I think I'll tweak this outfit before posting any real pictures. I bought a men's suit pattern to make it, and even after some intense adjustments the suit was still tooooo big! Wig was kinda icky too since I just loaded it with hairspray. I didn't have a model head either so it's not quite head-shaped either. Still, I loved carrying around the grape juice bottle that Ryounkura brought for her own Kristoph (which was also made of VICTORY). There were a few small parts to Kristoph that I loved working on though.

But hooray! I love meeting people at cons! My first con, AWA, was sad because I only stuck with the friend I came to the con with, but now I'm actually meeting some really awesome people. I'm really glad I could hang out with you! Happy~!
